During some 30 years of science David has been a full time researcher with the British Antarctic Survey (working on Antarctic Krill) and worked in a wide range of industries (Consultancy, Water, Oil & Gas). He also has extensive experience working on EIAs, waste, marine surveys, baselines and pollution, modelling (water, air and oil) plus environmental audit and management in the UK, the Arabian Gulf, the Caspian and Black Seas and in Russia.
In the last 10 years he has been working for Cefas, initially as a manager and latterly as a consulting scientist specialising in multi disciplinary integration work on and around the coasts. His current activities focus around data, information and evidence.
