Dr Martin Budd

Dr. Martin Budd is an environmental consultant with nearly 20 years experience in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), with particular application to coastal and marine developments and activities. 

Martin is currently the Group Director for Royal Haskoning’s Energy Team in the UK and he manages and oversees a team of engineers and environmental consultants working primarily in the renewables sector.  Martin has most recently been working on the planning and consenting of Round 2 and Round 3 Offshore Wind Farm developments. 

Martin has extensive experience of working in the UK and internationally, including a previous role as the manager of Royal Haskoning’s partner office in Bahrain. 

As well as experience in the ports and harbours, dredging and reclamation, coastal and flood defence, tidal barrage and marine conservation fields, Martin was also the lead author for CIRIA’s ‘Coastal and Marine Environmental Site Guide’.
