Submit abstract / paper / poster

To submit your final abstract or full paper or poster online you need to have already registered as an author. Please contact us if you have any difficulties in this process.
CHECKLIST FOR LITTORAL AUTHORS TO DOWNLOAD OR READ HERE.
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEP BY STEP INDICATIONS once you HAVE LOGGED IN:
STEP 1. READ AND USE THE REVIEWER'S NOTES (IF ANY) - from your "Papers" section
STEP 2. UPLOAD THE FINAL VERSION OF YOUR ABSTRACT
STEP 3. UPLOAD INFORMATION ABOUT THE AUTHOR/S FOR CONFERENCE
PRESENTATION AND OUTPUTS
STEP 4. SUBMIT YOUR FULL PAPER OR YOUR POSTER AND COPYRIGHT TRANSFER (hard copy)
STEP 5. UPLOAD YOUR
POWERPOINT PRESENTATION OR ANY RESOURCES TO ILLUSTRATE YOUR PRESENTATION (Videos, etc.)
STEP 1. READ AND USE THE REVIEWER'S NOTES (IF ANY) - from your
"Papers" section
Modify your abstract according to the reviewer's notes available in your "papers" section. Please note that not all abstracts have comments from the reviewer.
Please make sure the following three aspects
are clear in your abstract and full paper/poster before you submit them:
1. Relevance of the Abstract to the
Overarching Themes of the Symposium (the abstract is clearly related to an
overarching theme of the symposium)
2. Quality of the abstract (the
abstract is clearly and concisely written and the research is of a
publishable standard)
3. Relevance of the material for a
European/International audience (i.e. of more than local/national relevance/significance).
STEP 2. UPLOAD THE FINAL VERSION OF YOUR ABSTRACT
Please check that your abstract:
a. Follows the indications on presentation and content. Click here for full information.
b. Has been proof-read for English spelling and grammar.
c. The "Title" and "Keywords" fields are NOT in uppercase. (You can delete/modify/add your previuously added keywords)
d. Remember to include the Location of your paper on the map and upload a Picture that is representative or relevant to your paper. (Just type in the location in the provided field, click "search", your location should appear on the map below. Then you can drag the marker to a more precise location.)
STEP 3. UPLOAD INFORMATION ABOUT THE AUTHOR/S FOR CONFERENCE PRESENTATION
Please check that, in your "Account" section, you have:
a. Uploaded a short biography of the author/s (max. 100 words) ("Biography" section) (see example here)
b. Uploaded a photograph of the author/s ("Upload Picture" section) It will be automatically resized.
c. Review your "Contact Details" section(Country, City, ...)
STEP 4. SUBMITTING YOUR FULL PAPER OR YOUR POSTER
This document will need to be uploaded in the same way as your abstract, following the same guidelines. Please make sure the document is named paper-nameoffirstauthor.pdf or poster-nameoffisrstauthor.pdf
Include the Abstract of your full paper or poster
under the "Body" section (this one should be shorter than the
extended abstract - max. 250 words and will be the one you have included in your full paper).
Remember to ALSO send a Hard Copy of your Copyright Transfer to Littoral 2010 Team, CoastNet . The Gatehouse . Rowhedge Wharf . High Street . Rowhedge .

STEP 5. UPLOADING YOUR PRESENTATION OR RESOURCES TO ILLUSTRATE YOUR PRESENTATION
Upload in the "Attach" section any other documents we may need, in particular presentation materials ( ppt, video, photos, ...) before the 13th of September. We will be sending you some guidelines to make a more effective presentation.
If necessary, please "Rename" the uploaded document to a readable relevent title.
And finally, don't forget to "Save".
