Theresa has over 25 years experience working in a variety of fields including fisheries management, aquaculture, coastal management , HACCP, community engagement and education and project management.

She has published numerous papers from her research work and is co author of an academic text on Environmental Management and Aquaculture. Her previous employment includes consultancy work, teaching at secondary and university levels and research both in the UK and in developing countries where she worked for 10 years.

She was previously the UK Fisheries Director for the Marine Stewardship Council and in her role as Network Manager for CoastNet she brings a wealth of experience and technical knowledge as well as facilitation skills. She is leading the Coastal and marine Education programme for CoastNet as well as providing input into the EU projects and organizing events.

Theresa has a Phd in Fisheries Ecology , an MSc in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management and a BSc in Zoology with Psychology. She also has qualifications in secondary and university teaching as well as teaching English as a foreign language and HACCP.

Favourite places, Wewak beach, Papua New Guinea and Glenuig in Scotland.
