APPG meetings

 

CoastNet provides the Secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Coastal and Marine Issues, This group meets three times a year and has focused on issues like Social Justice, the Marine Bill, Erosion and Compensation or Rural Deprivation in coastal areas. A number of Members of Parliament take part as well as relevant stakeholders from government and its various agencies, the voluntary and community sector, research and business corporations.
